About Corrugated Plastic
Corrugated plastic, brand name of Coroplast®, is a popular material used
in the sign industry that is lightweight, cost effective and suitable for
various indoor and outdoor uses. It is famous for it's high quality printing
surface and that is why it is a material of choice for most of graphic and
screen printing industry today. The material is tougher
that corrugated fiberboard and lighter than extruded plastic sheet. It is
waterproof and stain-resistant.
About the Flutes
Choosing a direction of the flutes is very important if the material will be
used for signage. Vertical flutes are mostly chosen for signs that are used with
wire stakes, and horizontal flutes are mostly chose for signs that are used with
wooden sticks.
